Students learn how to communicate in the language of alternative investments, recognize the characteristics of private equity, private debt, hedge funds, and real estate, evaluate potential investment opportunities, and comprehend the skills and strategies required for investing in alternatives in Alternative Investments.
This course aims at developing practical yet comprehensive and systematic knowledge of Alternative Investments as an integral part of Business Administration. In the era of significant market turmoil institutional, as well as, individual investors look beyond traditional investment vehicles such as cash, bonds and shares. Highlight key differences between various types of Alternative Investments and Contrast with Traditional Assets. The purpose of this course is to explore the world of alternative investments such as investments on hedge funds, private equity / venture capital funds, real estate, and commodities, either directly or through funds of funds.
